Elizabeth Reaser is an American TV, film and theater actress who is most well-known for her roles in films such as The Twilight Saga and series such as Greys Anatomy and True Detective. Elizabeth was raised in Michigan. Since she was a child she longed to become an actor. After graduating in high school, she enrolled in drama in the Juilliard School. She graduated with a degree in fine arts. As a guest in The Sopranos she had her debut TV appearance. Later, she appeared on other popular shows including The Jury Hack, Standoff, and The Jury. Her career took off with a major breakthrough when she was offered the part as Alice Alden in the series Saved in 2006. Then she appeared in Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife as well as True Detective. In addition, she has appeared in movies such as Liberal Arts One and Two and the five parts from The Twilight Saga.

Jessica always had an interest with the film and television industries. Jessica first began modeling. An Australian director of casting approached her to conduct auditions. In Lightning Point/Alien surf Girls, she was offered the role in the film "Kiki". Since then, she's had smaller roles in films like Peter Pan, Aquamarine and numerous other films. The actress played Cleopatra on the show's second season. Netflix original series Roman Empire. Also, she was in the film of cult status, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica landed a worldwide search to play the leading role in The Outpost. The producers were given a video of her performance in MMA and a clip of her acting. They sent her a video on the next day that showed herself sword fighting. Jessica went through the script and realized that the character needed the training for weapons. Her first video was recorded lesson with a professional following studying the script. Jonathan Glassner stated that they were amazed at Jessica's performance in her initial training session. The actress had never taken on a major role before in the US, as all of her filmography was in Australia. Jessica is able to fully play the role of a strong woman due to her enthusiasm for action, her mixed martial arts expertise and her riding horse, guns and weapon skills as well as her athletic ability. In Australia she learnt muay Thai along with boxing. On set, filming Season 4, Jake Stormoen met a stray dog that was roaming the set. It was discovered that the stray dog belonged to an entire litter of puppies who were living on set. Jessica took care of both puppies.
