The Outpost is her first significant film in the US because her earlier filmographies were located in Australia. Jessica's passion for action is shown in the film as she demonstrates mixed martial arts, horseback riding expertise, in addition to her athletic abilities and weapons. Additionally, she can perform the stunts that make her an imposing female character. She is a trained boxer and muay Thai and a mixed martial artist. Jake Stormoen came across dogs roaming about the set for filming Season 4 while on set. The dog in question was actually one of the stray puppies that was living on a location. Jessica was the foster mom to both pups.
