Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 (February 27, 2010) Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet town that is located on the West Island, which is part of the Montreal island. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of communities. Many who've never heard of it often confuse it with a separate, west-facing island. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on West Island, although it's not the case. Brugel was raised in Courtice near Oshawa the city of Ontario. Her early ambition was to dance but a growth spurt led to her growing beyond her dance partners. According to an article in the Toronto Star, she revealed her height in heels as 6 foot 1 inch tall. After I became too big for my male friends, I quit. Many former dancers turn to acting and in the instance of Brugel,, it was the result of a recommendation from her high school teacher in drama. It was her teacher who advised her to audition as Anne for their school's annual production. After trying out her options, she was eventually the lead actress in Anne of Green Gables. This led to her being awarded the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship from York University. In 2000 she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts at York University. In the last 20 years, her roles in the world of television and on the screen have varied. Her role as Rita in the award-winning series The Handmaid's Tale was her most memorable. Brugel appeared only on rare moments in the very first season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. She was the only Canadian member.
